My activities through out the trip ~
23 Jan, I felted so lazy to go anywhere so spent half of the day just lying at home.. towards the evening went out shopping with my parents & had satay dinner @ Hui Sing.. hoho.. really miss the satay so much…

At nite, had gathering with all Joo’s Ji Mui @ After 3 Cafe for a short discussion for the games on Joo’s wedding day.

Party time after the discussion. We went to Barzing for Joo’s hen’s night. I guess everyone enjoyed through out the night. We ordered 1 750ml Chivas & 1 bucket of heineiken. Err… I think all of us is not good drinker. AND one of them drunk. huhu.. Better don’t mention his name here. I guess he will kill me.. haha.. Went to Petanak for a cup of tea after the pub outing.

24 Jan, Helped my mom for chinese new years cookies. Oh yeah, my mom almost finish the Kueh Mo Mo when I woke up. So basically I’m helping up with dust the cookies with icing powder. Then, continued with Pineapple Tart. Well, I helped out through out the whole process as my mom was busy with some other work. Tried the new pattern. But, didn’t turn out that well @ the end. Anyway, cookies taste nice. the bottom didn’t turn out as expected.  Probably because overbaked the with bottom heat I guess.

25 Jan, Poh Joo BIG DAY. Woke up extremely early ~ 5:30am. Some of them woke up 4:30am.. haha.. Kim Chai & Fung Sen fetch me up @ 6. In fact I haven’t get ready yet when they reached my house as Fung Sen told me should be fetch me up after 6. Anyway, 2 of us consider late to Joo’s house already. Joo already get ready everything the time we reached. All of us get ready with those game stuff and waiting for the groom to come. Groom arrived with15 heng tais, around 7:15am. Well, we got 15 ji muis as well.. haha.. Not going to details out the games here.. hehe.. Headed home around 12:30 after buffet lunch @ Groom side. Had a short nap before heading to the Wedding Dinner @ Sarawak Club.

Last Day, had breakfast with Fung Sen, Calvin & Guan Chen @ Fung Sen mom porridge stall. Yummy yummy. My Kuching trip ended with a glass of famous 3 layer Teh C Peng @ 7th mile before heading to Airport. .

Going back to Kuching for Chinese New Year on 6 Feb again..

Yippee~~.. this is the event that i have waited for such a long time. Of course, AirAsia is my choice for this trip. I have booked the Chinese New Year air ticket since May 2007. A bit kiasu right? hehe.. No choice, else the ticket will be very expensive.

Anyway, this trip back to Kuching is a bit special whereby this trip is not only for the Chinese New Year celebration. In fact, this trip to Kuching is also for me to attend Pat wedding which held on the fifth day of the CNY (30th Jan). Another special thing of this CNY is that our Aunty from Australia celebrate CNY with us in Kuching. 

As usual, we visited relatives house on the first day. Since the weather in Kuching is really bad during CNY, thus, we only managed to visit some of the relatives on the first day. And of course, we continued on second day. We have family lunch @ Uncle house on second day. Well, never forget to hangout with my gang. hehe..

Here we reached the special day of Patricia & Alfred on fifth day of CNY. 11 of us be Pat 姐妹团 on that day.. hehe..  7 gals & 4 guys.. Curious why is it there were guy in our 姐妹团? hehe… anyway,. 姐妹团 can be anyone of bride good friend. We gathered @ Tarot on 22 Jan to discuss for the game during this special day.. Ang Xim is the 1 did the proposal for all the games. Sound Professional right?

On this special day, I woke up around 5am early in the morning. After simple make up & breakfast, Yik Han fetch me up around 6:20am and headed to bride house which situated @ Kenyalang. Our “ji mui” theme for today is WHITE. Thus, all of us wore in white color.

We have set total of 3 BIG obstacles for the bridegroom. hehe.. Bridegroom gang came around 7:30am. They have been working so hard to go through the obstacles which set by us and also Pat family. Special thing of Pat wedding is that the game stop for about 15 minutes after second game for then “mian xien” session. After all the games & photo taking session. We headed to the church to attend the wedding mass which lasted for about an hour. We took lots of pictures outside the beautiful church and went back to Alfred & Pat house for the ‘tea’ ceremony.  We headed home after lunch buffet. After a short nap & tea break. Tze Leng fetch me up around  5:30pm headed to Banquet for the wedding dinner.
