Last day in Hong Kong.

We checked out early in the morning and kept our luggage @ hostel. We did shopping for the last round after breakfast. Of course, I managed to grab one pair of sport shoes here in Baleno which cost HKD99 only.. hehe.. cheap right?

We went back to our hostel to collect our bags & heading to the China Ferry Terminal @ Kowloon around noon time. We shopped around in the terminal before the Ferry departure. hehe.. I managed to grab some G2000 cloth the moment before we left Hong Kong.

The Ferry departure sharp @ 3pm & the journey took us 1 hour to reach Macau. Of course, we did some research on the famous place to grab souvenir in Macau. The nearest Choi Heong Yuan Bakery(咀香园饼家) is @ The Store Shopping which is the walking distance from the Ferry Terminal.

We took taxi to the airport after souvenir time & here we end our Macau – Hong Kong 2007 Trip.

Yes, today we went back to Wan Chai for breakfast again. Hehe… this time round, we able to find the most famous Hong Kong teahouse in Wan Chai. I wasn’t sure is it really the most famous 1. . We saw this ~ 香港驰名蛋挞 ~ that’s why we choose this shop. .

Here we got our Egg Tart (港式蛋挞) & Polo Bun(菠萝包 & 菠萝油). Well, of course never forget the Hong Kong style milk tea (港式奶茶 & 港式鸳鸯).

We proceeded to Golden Bauhinia Square (金紫刑广场) after breakfast. This square commemorates Hong Kong’s return to china, with a daily flag-raising ceremony from 7:45am to 8:03am.

We walked along the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kowloon peninsula.

Yeah.. Here we met up with the Hong Kong Artist. This is one of the Scene in the Hong Kong drama ~ 当狗爱上猫

Then, we headed to Tsing Ma Bridge (青马大桥) by minibus no.308M from Tsing Yi station. It is the world’s seventh-longest span suspension bridge which links Tsing Yi (青衣) Island to Ma Wan(马湾). It has two decks and carries both road and rail traffic, which also makes it the largest suspension bridge of this type. The bridge has a main span of 1,377 metres (4,518 ft) and a height of 206 metres (676 ft). The span is the largest of all bridges in the world carrying rail traffic.

We headed to the highest point on Hong Kong Island ~ The Peak (太平山顶). Heck, the queue for the ticket was pretty long while we reached there (because today is Saturday). . Again we changed our initial plan. In order to get priority entrance, we have to buy the Combo Ticket (Madame Tussauds + Tram ~ HKD130). ** Madame Tussauds was not in our initial plan ** We visited Sky Terrace as well which cost us HKD20

We visited Madame Tussauds (香港杜沙夫人蜡像馆) features about 100 local and international celebrity wax figures.

Tell you the truth, if you have chance to visit Madame Tussauds London, you will know the difference. (Madame Tussauds London is much much better compare to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong which I think Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is really not worth it. )

Again, the moment we wanted to leave, still long queue for the tram. Thus, we decided to take taxi to the Central Station & back to Mongkok.

Day of Ocean Park. Our initial breakfast plan was try the local delicacies in Hong Kong teahouses (港式茶餐厅) ~ Hong Kong’s style tea, Polo Bun & egg tarts @ Wan Chai which is 1 station after Admiralty. Thus, we took MTR from Mongkok to Admiralty & transited to Island Line (港岛线) to Wan Chai (湾仔) Station. According to the map, we would be able to get Hong Kong teahouses after we get off from any exit of the Station. However, I wasn’t sure what is the problem, we wouldn’t be able to find any. Therefore, we just dine in in one of the shop for our breakfast. No worry, I will be back tomorrow. . After breakfast, we took MTR back to Admiralty Station & transit to Citybus Route 629 from Admiralty MTR Station. The bus fare cost HKD10.6 each person. We bought Ocean Park ticket from MTR Travel services Center at MTR Admiralty station which cost HKD185 (normal price HKD 208) each.

We get off from the bus after going through the Arberdeen Tunnel and took a short walk to the park.

We entered the Main Entrance (Two entrances available ~ Tai Shue Wan Entrance and Main Entrance which are connected by cable-car) of the Park which lead us Headland Section.

We first went to the Space Wheel ride. In fact, only my sis & me went for this ride as Bryan & Chen Hoong dare not to try. . This ride took about 1.57mins. An excited ride. should try. After that, we went through the second longest outdoor but weatherproof escalator in the world ~ Ocean Park Escalator (登山電梯) – At 224 m (745ft). This escalator is actually 4 levels(First Level [Bird Paradise -> Raging River] -> Second Level [Raging River -> Mine Train] -> Third Level [Mine Train -> Pacific Pier])

After that, We went to Ferris Wheel and the Ocean Park Tower.

We proceeded to the Lowland Garden by Cable Car (a gondola lift system that connects the park together) in order to catch up with the Amazing Birds Show.

Then, we took the Cable Car back to the headland again in order to catch up with performances by dolphins & sea lions @ Ocean Theater. Unfortunately, the theater is already full the moment we reached there. Thus, we just walked around & had light meal before the show.

Our initial plan was visit the Hong Kong Jockey Club Giant Panda Habitat (香港賽馬會大熊貓園) – Home to four giant pandas, Jia Jia (female) and An An (male) as well as Le Le (male) and Ying Ying (female). However, Ocean Park close @ 6:30pm where the Ocean Theater show finished @ 5:45pm. The worst thing is that we only realize the Headland & Lowland is only connected via Cable Car where Ocean Park located on two different sides of a mountain & overlooking the sea. This is the reason we missed the chance to meet up with those pandas. . But, I brought back a panda toy from Ocean Park.

We end our trip for today @ Harbour City Shopping Center (海港城） which situated @ the hub of Tsim Sha Tsui. This shopping complex located along the west side of Canton Road, stretching from the Star Ferry terminal in the south to China Hong Kong City in the north.

It comprises four parts :-
~ Zone HH – Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel
~ Zone OT – Ocean Terminal
~ Zone OC – Ocean Centre
~ Zone GW – the Gateway.

Oh yeah… Disneyland Day. We had simple breakfast in the hostel before we start our day. We bought the Disneyland Ticket (HKD295) from the hostel so that we will be able to skip the long queue @ Disneyland.

We decided to get the MRT 1-day pass which cost HKD50 where this ticket allowed unlimited rides on main urban lines for a single day. From Mongkok(旺角） station, we took the Tsuen Wan line to Lai King (荔景） & transit to Tung Chung Line to Sunny Bay （欣澳） Station. At Sunny Bay MTR station, we took the exclusive Disneyland Resort line (迪士尼綫) to Disneyland Resort Station. This monorial has unique Mickey Mouse-shaped windows & hand straps adorn Disney Resort Liners, which each sport a different color on the nose and sides.

Here we reached the main entrance of Disneyland.

Here you can see a lot of disney characters coming to life.. yeah.. of course we need to queue up for the photo shooting. We met up with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Winnie the Pooh, Chip & Dale.. (We didn’t get the chance to meet up with donald duck. ).

We passed by Main Street, USA to our first stop in disneyland ~ Fantasyland. Here you will see the Sleeping Beauty Castle which is a trademark of disneyland (as shown in pic below). This castle is actually available in all the Disneyland.

After that, we went to Adventureland, then Tomorrowland. We enjoyed our lunch @ one of the restaurant.

We back to Main Street USA before we left Disneyland to grab some souvenir.

We left Disneyland around 5pm and proceeded to Lantau Island(大屿山). Lantau Island is actually our initial plan after Disneyland. Thus, we took Disneyland resort line back to Sunny Bay & proceeded to Tung Chung via Tung Chung Line. The time we reached Tung Chung is already 6pm where the last bus is actually 5pm. Thus, we change our plan immediately. We shopped for a while in Citygate Outlets Shopping Center.

If you are into name brands, you must check out this shopping center in Tung Chung. There are 3 floors of outlet shops – mainly sports wear and other clothing. If only your spouse is a fan, worry not, there are a couple of coffee shops for you to park yourself with a book to watch the bags! There’s also a nice food court (Food Republic) to sample some cuisines where we had our dinner there.

After that, we took Tung Chung Line to Central (中环）Station & proceeded to Lan Kwai Fong(兰桂坊）. hehe… we lost somewhere here.. Lan Kwai Fong is perhaps Hong Kong’s most popular and well known area for a night out. It is now a popular expatriate haunt in Hong Kong for drinking, clubbing and dining. The street Lan Kwai Fong is an L-shape with two ends joining with D’Aguilar Street. We take a break @ one of the bar.

We end our day @ Temple Street (庙街） or sometimes known as Men’s Street. We took Tsuen Wan Line from Central to Yao Ma Tei(油麻地） Station. Temple Street located in the areas of Jordan and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This street is well known for its night market and the busiest flea market at night in the territory. The night market is in the Yau Ma Tei, Jordan areas of the street and not the Mong Kok area of the street. Popular with both tourists and locals alike in the evening, it is common to see the place crowded at dusk. It sells cheap merchandise and food items.

We woke up early in the morning today as we will travel around Macau before we proceed to Hong Kong. Since the hotel is only offered free breakfast for two. Thus, my sis & me got the chance to try the local breakfast. We picked one of the cha chang teng near our hotel & ordered a 艇仔粥 and 1 set of sandwich.

After breakfast, we took a taxi to our first destination of the day ~ Ruins of St. Paul’s(大三巴牌坊). 大三巴牌坊是澳門天主之母教堂（聖保祿教堂）正面前壁的遺址。大三巴牌坊是澳門的標誌性建築物之一，同時也為「澳門八景」之一。We spend some time here before we proceed to casino area around our hotel. We went to Sands Casino as well as Babylon Casino this time.

We got back to our hotel around 12 noon & checked out around 12:30 noon. From hotel, we took a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the pier to take the ferry to Hong Kong.

The ferry departed sharp @ 1pm & took around 1 hour to reach Hong Kong. There are number of macau ferries available, run by TurboJET, First Ferry and the Cotai Strip CotaiJet™ . We picked the TurboJet which cost us HKD152. The China Ferry Terminal is located in Kowloon. From there, we took taxi to Wong Kok where our hostel 龙群宾馆 (亚皆老街83号 , 先施大厦7楼 707室) situated. Here we spend some time look for our hostel again as this hostel is really a small hostel which situated @ the 7th floor of the building. We were shocked when we saw our room which provided with 1 double deck & 2 single bed. And a small bathroom provided for private use. However, this hostel is really very clean although it is small. This hostel is just nice for a backpacker which only cost HKD200 per night. ~ Really Worth ~

After a short rest, we made our move to Ladies Market (女人街) which only few steps from our hostel. We tried some local food here in the market such as 烧鹅脾, 臭豆腐, 咖哩鱼蛋, 香烤鱿鱼. 臭豆腐虽然臭但却非常美味（只有我这么认为 ) . We walked around along the street & finally we dine in @ one of the cha chang teng for our dinner. As we already feel full after all the food along there street, therefore we only ordered 2 set of meal & share.

We departed from LCCT sharp @ 13:30 & landed @ Macau @ 17:15. Then, we took taxi from airport to our hotel. The good thing of travel in 4 is that 4 person is just nice to travel in a taxi. This Hotel (Metro Park Hotel) located @ the heart of the Macau which is 15 mins from airport. We checked in the hotel around 18:00 & rest for a while before we start our journey.

Here we had our first meal in Macau.

We walked around after dinner.. wow.. a lot of casino available here. We passed by the Rio Casino. Then Galaxy Casino. After that Sands Casino (the largest casino in Macau at the moment). From there, we took a taxi to go to the Grand Lisboa. The guide request for my passport when we entered the casino. haha… mayb i’m look young.. .
